2010-2011 Club Goals
The following are the 2010-2011 Goals for the Rotary Club of Des Moines. These goals are not in any order of priority, but are a reflection of our Club's diverse and comprehensive contribution to the community and world in which we live.
Goal 1: Add (2) new members to our Club
Goal 2: Sustain a recruitment and retention team
Goal 3: Provide quality weekly programs that increase awareness of Rotary, the local community, non-profit organizations and city/government affairs
Goal 4: Contribute $100 per member towards Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY)
Goal 5: Meet goal of $5000 to Rotary International Foundation
Goal 6: Secure (2) Benefactor commitments
Goal 7: Provide (4) formalized opportunities for club socialization
Goal 8: Complete and install Marina Rotary Information Kiosk
Goal 9: Complete and install "Rotary Meets Here" signs at city entry points
Goal 10: Continuation of the Weekly Club Newsletter
Goal 11: Engage every member in a club committee and fund raising projects
Goal 11: Engage in (2) projects with the Mt. Rainier Interact Group
Goal 12: Update website on weekly basis and add new features
Goal 13: Continue the success of Poverty Bay Wine Festival and surpass revenue and attendance goals by 10%
Goal 14: Create a second fundraiser
